Introduction
Easy recipe.
Ingredients:
- 125 g Butter, cubed
- 125 g Butter, cubed
- 100 g Dark chocolate, well chopped
- 1 Tbsp Golden syrup
- 1 Egg
- ½ cup Caster sugar
- ¼ cup Cocoa powder
- ⅓ cup Almonds, chopped
- ⅓ cup Chocolate bits
- 250 g Wine biscuits, broken into small pieces
- 1 cup Marshmallows, use mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Line a 17cm x 27cm slice tin with nonstick baking paper, leaving an overhang on all sides.
- Place cubed butter, chopped dark chocolate and golden syrup in a bowl and microwave to melt. Stir to combine, then whisk in egg, sugar and cocoa.
- Stir in the chopped almonds, chocolate bits, wine biscuits broken into small pieces, and marshmallows.
- Transfer mixture to prepared tin and, using the back of a spoon, press the mixture into the tin.
- Cover and refrigerate until set. Cut into small squares using a hot knife. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
