Introduction

Easy recipe.

Ingredients:

  1. 125 g Butter, cubed
  2. 125 g Butter, cubed
  3. 100 g Dark chocolate, well chopped
  4. 1 Tbsp Golden syrup
  5. 1 Egg
  6. ½ cup Caster sugar
  7. ¼ cup Cocoa powder
  8. ⅓ cup Almonds, chopped
  9. ⅓ cup Chocolate bits
  10. 250 g Wine biscuits, broken into small pieces
  11. 1 cup Marshmallows, use mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Line a 17cm x 27cm slice tin with nonstick baking paper, leaving an overhang on all sides.
  2. Place cubed butter, chopped dark chocolate and golden syrup in a bowl and microwave to melt. Stir to combine, then whisk in egg, sugar and cocoa.
  3. Stir in the chopped almonds, chocolate bits, wine biscuits broken into small pieces, and marshmallows.
  4. Transfer mixture to prepared tin and, using the back of a spoon, press the mixture into the tin.
  5. Cover and refrigerate until set. Cut into small squares using a hot knife. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
